Company overview
Keeping your fleet rolling. Safely and efficiently.
For over 40 years, Carter's Tyre Service has been one of New Zealand's leading tyre specialists. We cater to all types of vehicles — from the family car and small fleets to large commercial operations, including the off-the-road and agricultural sectors.
With advanced management systems we provide real-time tracking and maintenance schedules, keeping fleets safe and efficient while lowering overall costs. And every one of our stores is set up for a full range of tyre services for the general public, too.
Part of National Tyre & Wheel
Carter's is proudly part of National Tyre & Wheel (NTAW), a publicly listed group operating across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. That network gives us access to an extensive selection of trusted global brands — and lets us give genuinely unbiased advice on which one suits you.
Milestones on the way
- The first New Zealand tyre company to be ISO accredited
- The first tyre company to install GPS in all our trucks and vehicles
- Our own retread manufacturing, with every casing barcode-tracked
- Carter's Accelerator — funded training for up to 20 school leavers a year
"Tread true — fleet companies do."
